With my two friends (Michael Wipf and Charles Abrecht) from Ueli 1876, I wanted to try something new: the combination of Latin American / African rhythms with Basel drums. We first played the march "Timbalero" and an improvised part with clave and other rhythms. At the end there was also a jam session.
The performance was at the event "BENEFIZ", organized by Tatjana Pietropaolo (outstanding artist!), and collected money for children in families affected by addiction. All proceeds went to the Löwenzahn Foundation.
The evening was a success. It was an honor to be part of this project. I hope you enjoy our video and feel the joy and energy we had on stage.
